I own a Digitakt/Digitone as well but i tend to like to use those one their own. Having different step lengths per track makes some interesting rhythms too! I've been running it back into the modular to process with Data Bender and Per4mer too and its bee a lot of fun with those! It models the classic drum machines really well (worth it just for that!), it sounds great, and it's very fast and easy to work with. And if you think about cost, it costs about the same as a typical euro drum module, but has 6 of them plus a sequencer.Ī just plug it into Pams workout MIDI clock output expander for sync.

When i want more classic drum sounds/beats to just compliment a patch im working on, this thing is just perfect for it. I normally like to synthesize my percussion sounds in the modular rather than using dedicated drum modules.
